Verifying client data!!!

Hi, I have BF2 and BF2SF and i recently installed 1.3. Now whenever i go to join a game it loads the map,then freezes on "Loading complete. Verifying client data." I cant go to desktop or anything. It just shows the intimidating red 2 spinning around and that's the only thing that moves. I used to have this problem with previous patches but that was once in a while. Now it's all the time. Plz help me!

Ahhh that excellent 1.3 patch
Im personally waiting untill 1.4 or a hotfix before i play again.
I refuse to break my PC over BF2 crashing :cussing:

EA actually tried to fix the game, once, a long time ago, not dice is charged with deving 2142 and making patches, they have no one working on bf2 and everyone working on 2142.
