    Ventrilo Lag Problem

    Hey everyone. Recently, I've been using Ventrilo over BF2's built-in VoiP for communication. Unfortunately, this has been sending my ping through the roof. My connection's fine, I get no lag when I play BF2, only when I play it with Ventrilo on. I have an Intel Pentium 4 Processor, 3.4 GB CPU with 1 Gig of ram. Is the memory the issue? Any tips would be appreciated.

      Ctrl+alt+dlt and see what resourses it is using.
      It should run fine along side BF2 with 1G RAM but 2G would be much better.
