Never heard of it before but that doesn't mean much. I'd have to see a video before I commented though. Lots of games 10 years old have gorgeous stills in them, and some use film clips to add to the realism. These pictures look more like art than media. I'm not partiuclarly impressed by any of it.

B/c it was taken b/4 the e3 build on beta dev kits. That pic was from the end of 2005.

I think its because the HUD is in-game, the screens at the top are concept art/moves like others have said. Hell theres a huge chance I could be wrong, but it just seems and looks that way.
