Where To Turn ???????

OK, so I was a having a probleming installing BF2 on my new laptop. The comp. can def. handle the game and the disk is clean and all that stuff. But yet I get some crazy error code that no one seems to know anything about. Even when I google it I get only like 2 hits that say contact the vendor. My question is can I contact EA and try to get another copy from them or does anyone know the procedure in this case is or can refer me towards a solution... THANX

i know this error!!
I had the same problem when installing Ghost recon..
Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime
You must delete one of the folders inside, but i dont know which...
It has somethig to do with installshield i think...

contact EA they must know (OR they might not!)

my mate had problems with it once and managed to install in safe mode. Try disabling all of your Antivirus ETC!
