Hey guys,

With my account BobsSpeechProblem, I have been flying, or should I say chaffeuring players in a Blackhawk. Only then did I realize: Hardly anyone else uses them!

I say, although I know it won't happen, EA should boost the transport helos. I beleive this: two guns for passengers 1 and 2 that should exploding-on-impact grenades with similar splash damage to M203 grenades (The way they used to be).

Passangers 3-6 should get LMGs like the mounted ones on the field. This would make transport Helicopters extremely useful for squads and encourage some teamwork.

I believe there was a thread posted similar to this not long ago, anyways EA nerfed the miniguns of the blackhawk, mad it less powerful so it would "equal" out to the MEC and chinese transport. That is the reason that blackhawks are less used. THe most common thing i have seen is a squad going in a transport helo and parachuting out, trashing the helo. Its rare to see a teamwork squad that works together in a heli

you should have "chaffeured" when the game first came it, you would have gotten like 100+ points a round at least!!

When they nerfed the miniguns EA/DICE should have just deleted them, instead they are useless now. The only map that was a problem on was Mastur.Its the one map everybody called minigun rape and the whole BH got nerfed because of one map. Kinda sad....

I THINK THEY SHOULD ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING 4.

a) increase M203 splash damage of assult class.
b) Blackhawk minigun should have same damage effect as little bird mini gun...
(COME ONE a M134 spits out 1000+ a min)
c) The Infamous J-10 issue..
d)cartillary.. annoying when someone drops a vehcle on main base...

I think these NEED TO BE ADDRESSED TO BRING BACK the FUN in BF

Yeah,

I thought added some powerful repeating 40 mm cannons may possibly make them more desirable for players.

The mounted MGs could also lay down faster fire then those .50 cals, which leave alot to be desired when moving fast.

And of course, the next patch needs to FIX THE DAMN MICROPHONES!

The miniguns had no problem except on Mashtuur, as stated earlier. But if they really felt it necessary to nerf a great asset. . . maybe just all out replacing the miniguns with M240s or M60s?

LOL, last night I was on Mashtuur, and along came a BH. It's right side gunner opened up firing on me at power station. I was out in the open. He cirlced one complete time, firing constantly, and I took 0 damage. Not even one bar of health from me. BH then flew away....

yep I know how useless they are I was really good with them (I know, kinda hard not to be:p)
I was on Mash and opened up on an AFK guy, from about 20m away, it took a fu*king 5 second burst just to kill him and he wasnt even moving...

There is actually one thing the guns can still do, take out buggys. especially the hummers and big mec/pla ones. killing troops is possible, but you need to basicly be hovering, and they can't be moving (ie snipers), which is the riskiest thing to do in a transport.

I think the new recon choppers fill the void though, it can dish out damage while not being able to take that much. and with only 2 passangers you really need to work together.

i like to land it on the beach in wake... wait for some n00b to take the mik by shooting at you in the cockpit with his pistol then spin the BH around, change seat and show him how a uni education helps you not be tarded

Yes, masthuur should have been fixed not the blackhawk. A couple AA emplacements here and there and the bitching would have stopped.
