Anyway.... back to the name-source guessing.
You work for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as a torture expert.
Re: DarkShadowDemon666 and other unimaginative player names.
Excellent Thread!
I have been cracking up over this phenomenon with my friends for years already. It seems that the more "evil" oder "leet" the name is, the higher the chances that it's holder is a real wuss in real life.
Re: DarkShadowDemon666 and other unimaginative player names.
I really like my name, as I've been in Europe and with and accent like mine having CDN does help. Sometimes as Europeans can be rude to my southern neigbors for no good reason other than an inferiority complex.
SMOKEJUMPER is just bada$$. C'mon how hard do you have to be to jump out of an aircraft with a chainsaw to fight a forest fire?
Re: DarkShadowDemon666 and other unimaginative player names.
Personally I hate all names that include or combine the following words:
- sniper
- wolf
- snake
- killer
- killa
- killing
- GER
- elite
The worst I've seen so far is probably: =GER=ELITESNIPER
I mean c'mon who the **** cares if you're from Germany, what's the deal with people putting their countries' initials in their names. It's mostly europeans that do it too, I have yet to see: USA=SNIPERWOLF.

I totally made that up, so Mr. DarkShadowDemon666, if you are out there, I'm sorry, but what's the deal with all these pseudo-hardcore names kids are picking these days?
Where's the love?
I can't hardly log into a server without being confronted with one of these emo-goth super-teens...
I wonder why they pick such wannabe evil names. The phenomenon has always interested me. There must be an "Evil Name Generator" on the web somewhere that you can plug your real name into and have it create a super intimidating cyber name.
The more generic your real name, the more extreme your super-dark name.
Alexander Glenderstein = KillerSausage
or
Bobby Anderson = xXxMegaBloodDemon666xXx
Just random commentary... who do these kids think they are foolin'?
lol
Hahaha, Christ this is so true, something I've been bemoaning for a while now. There's also a large amount of 12 year old rap idiot type names, usually along the lines of '^^^^JUGALOKILLA^^^^', '>GANGSTARAPIST69<' and 'The Game'.
Anyway, I'll read the rest of this thread after I've finished being busy.

If not that, then you are an accountant.
Wrong on both accounts. The name has nothing to do with where I work. It relates more to the way I play the game. Besides, I lost my original name when I left the clan I was in.
