After reading all of your comments, I know that my kills aren't that fantastic and the effects are overused!

The reason why my kills aren't that great is that I'm runnng a lousy computer and when I'm recording it with fraps, its lags badly! That's why I can hardly get any kills.

As for the effects... I thought of adding more would let the overall video graphics look nicer as all of the settings are in low except for terrain and geometry. But well after all of your comments, I think it is a bad idea afterall to overuse the effects.

I also like everyone to try commenting on the short movie rather than the fragging parts as so far I only got 1 comment about it. :hmm: Also if I'm making another movie in the future, it will be smiliar as the short movie and not any first-person footages again.

Good movie, the effects was exellent. I see you stole one of the music tracks from CaptivA, but that's okay, else the rest of the music was crap.

I need to learn how to edit things like that.

As far as the opener for the movie, you had that one quick back pan effect that went REALLY well IMO. I also really liked the little close up kill square =)

Well I liked it kinda, the effects weren't bad and I wish I knew how to do them but you went a little overboard. I liked how you made the little squares that zoom in on the crosshair but didn't like it when you put effects on the little square which made it impossible to see you killing them.

7/10 overall, and as I said I wish I knew how to do atleast a couple of them effects.

Still I can vouch for overuse of effects, making the image harder to define than it could have been. But who's the say that's wrong. Frag videos are a chance to be playful in the editor. Throw logic and reason out the window and just go with it. At least if the content doesn't interest you, the effects will.

I won't bore you into "how to improve with editing" for good reasons.

And I don't even know why most machinima nowadays instantly has to be judged enjoyable or not. Sure everybody’s got an opinion to post but it gonna come down to "I hate it, don't download it" vs "I love it, everybody download it"
Ratings are O.K, Strange unless your working for somebody actually keeping track of numbers on a database, but what annoys me the most is when people rate things to be invoking they can do better when they have nothing to backup, no work themselves... crazy!

Ranting over, I JUST enjoyed your movie... nothing else to it really, you get the most pride. You can now tick professional editing off your "things I did" list lol.

Great vid man. I run a mohaa demo site and have seen hundreds of demos only a few with the technical prowess you've put into this one. Good job and I'm sure it'll inspire some ideas in other demoers like myself.

Last time I saw that many effects in a demo it was done by a design studio

Also I'm wondering which effects did I overused and where? After watching many times I still can't figure out where lol... perhaps I may have overused the contrast?

I'm also shocked to see your editing skills improve tremendousy! I still remembered the time you created 2 BF1942 videos using WMM, then The Razzamatazz Compilation (which is quite professionally done) and now... OBS.
