Weapon Unlocks

Hey all im new so forgive,

Just got a thing about weapon unlock, picked a gun for the assault guy but it never shows up as a choice for my dude... did I unlock it? It shows that I did, can I only use it in singleplayer? What gives?

ya, it said I could pick an unlock I did, and it showed the unlock padlock and all but when I join a multiplayer game I see the default weapon. Do I have to change something in the assault profile to make the new weapon the default?

Please excuse my ignorance, just found the power button yesterday..:)

After you join a game, in the spawn/kit selection screen you will see an arrow next to your weapon, click it.
