Screen goes crazy after I get killed?

I just reinstalled BF2 and now everytime I get killed, the screen spasms like crazy until I spawn again. Why is that and how can I fix it? I have installed the lastest patch and all. I didn't have this problem before.

Since the problem seem to have reaccured I have noticed that it also happens when an explosion happens close to me. Anyone know why this happens at all?

You full system specs would be great. And the EDIT button is there for a reason.

Well I didn't edit since my first post was in June as you see, but here is my specs:

AMD Athlon XP 3000+
1GB RAM
ASUS Radeon 9600 SE
Creative Soundblaster 5.1 audio card

Edit: It is worth to note that it only seems to happen on some servers as others work fine.

Do u have the latest drivers for your gfx card, sound card? What drivers are these? try reverting back to the previous stable drivers for the ATI cards.

can you take a screenshot of what happens when you die?

I do have the latest drivers for my gfx and sound card. But as I stated, it only seems to happen on some servers and others seem fine. I will take a screenshot and post it next time it happens.

Here is a screenshot of what happens when I die and an explosion happens infront of me. Imagine the picture to freeze, but blur at the same time.

Looks like the card is overheating. What temp is it running at? Is the fan working on the card? Removed the case panel to check.

Get a can of compressed air, take out the card and give it a blow with the air as there maybe some dust blicked in the card causing it to over heat.

How safe are you with removing & apply new paste & putting a new fan on the card, as the current one could be failing.

That sound like a good idea, I will try it and get back to you about it tomorrow.

About putting a new fan on with paste, I can do as I did the same thing with my cpu when I got it. Thanks for the advise.
