You can take the Abrahms out with 1 shot (Tank 2 Tank), or leave 3 bars.
Aim just under the barrel between the turret and the body. I take out the Abrahms all the time w/ the T-90 using 2 shots max.
bounce the tank shell of the skirt of the treads under the turret of the tank. you need to have a 5 degree or less angle to induce a ricochet. one shot kill.
for apcs, bounce the tank shell off the top of the tire and it will bound inside the wheel well. one shot kill.
you can also knock about 60-70% of the tanks health off by hitting the vertical part of the tread skirt on the tank with a ricochet. you will see the shell ricochet off if you did it right.
i made a video showing all of this stuff a while back, lost my webspace and can't be buggered to remake it. so you'll just have to take my word on it.
otherwise, for a tank vs tank, the safe way to go is to hit them in the vertical part of the treads on the tank. if your facing the front of the tank, just nail the tread piece that looks the most vertical, two hits usually smokes em.

BELIEVE HIM. I saw it like 5 months ago, it's true, all he says is true, do what he tells you, i've done the one shot kill multiple times in combat.
And the front is the strongest, I wonder why its weaker than the back in the game?
Because it's not lol. If you aim for the front, it takes 4 shots to kill, back, top, and side, it takes three, front/back treads, 2, the sweetspot IV fluids mentioned 1.

Yea, abrams is a bit easier imo as i has the most amount of space between turret and hull. It's still possible on other tanks, just a bit harder to do imo though.

Not at all. What would be cool, though, is that if you could throw a grenade into the tank hatch. That'd be sweet.
There are actually two one hit k.o. spots, one is the left hand tail light and the second is as said above, if your looking at the abrams head on, it is just to the left right in between then turret and the hull.
