Starting as a private???

So, sometimes I join a server and I'm a private.......

I know this as happened to many people and I've seen a few threads.


I just have one question, if I earn a medal/award while that has happened will I get that reward?

I just played and got my basic pistol badge, but it hasn't registered. I have over 50 pistol kills so I should have been awarded my vet as well as basic .......

Will I get this or not?

I don't play 24/7 like a lot of you do here. I don't really bother going for badges, I just like to play. Like most of the BF 2 players

no, but points earned during this time as private get added to your global I have found.
