How far will I be able to push BF2?

Right now I have the usual 2 gigs of ram, AMD 4200+ processor, x1800xt 512mb video card.

I usually get about 100FPS on most maps with everything on high, at 1280x1024.

Now, I ordered the Dell 2407 WFP (if there are color banding issues it will go back, but suposidly they are fixed...) which runs at 1900x1200.

Now, I want to know how BF2 looks in widescreen (or if it can even be done) and to what resolution I can push it too?

And yes, it is possible to go past 1280x1024.

I guess I should rephrase the question; what is the highest resolution that I can play BF2 on high (or mostly all settings on high) while keeping my FPS around 40 for most maps, at the least?

Also, how do I run it at higher resolution, i.e. what should I set the field of view to in that .con file (which .con file?) and what string do I add to my BF2 shortcut?

Yeah...Sorry about that. I remember reading that thread a while ago, although I didn't know where.

I'm only 14...I do well on tests though. My strong suit is science and social studies.

When I am a freshman, I will be in sophomore honors math and sophomore honors science.
