If you receive error message;

mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx not found!!! _DO_check your working directory,_AND_sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP
(really!)

there's a simple fix without having to de-install - re-install.

Go to;

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Shaders_client.zip"

and copy all the files to

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Shaders

This will then allow you to play specs ops:)
