We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
After I finished watching this video I was ready to say that "No, he's probably not a hacker, or it's inconclusive". Based on the footage, nothing looks like the cheating seen by phen0m's fog shots in the earlier thread. While he does look suspect, I'd never accuse someone of hacking based off this inconclusive footage alone. For the most part it seems he left the cameraman alone, and really I know if I had a hack like that I could wipe out the entire enemy team from miles away and nobody would be safe as those cannons have no bullet drop, maximum range, and a fair bit of splash damage. So either he was hacking and really really sucked, or he was "toning it down" just a bit so it didn't look to obvious (IE: leaving certain people in odd locations alone).
I'm speaking from personal experience when I say I can with some effort fly over a location with good contrast (for example, an airfield or a hilltop), and spot infantry on the ground and then quickly dip and spray them with the cannons on a single pass (if it's too late I'll usually get them on a follow up pass). Again, it's extremely difficult to do. As an experienced gamer and BF2 pilot some things do stand out to me however. One thing I found perplexing is he seemed to have mastery over one of the most difficult piloting techniques (if not the most difficult), yet he still can't bomb for a crap. Also, I notice when he comes in to cannon you down he doesn't follow the standard technique I use where I fly low but perfectly level so I don't lose/gain altitude, and then I quickly dip down and engage with the cannons. However he'd go in a straight line right at the target, again... very suspect. That method makes no sense because when you dip down like that looking for infantry you can only cover a tiny little area properly and if no infantry exist in that location you've essentially finished your pass and have to go back around and start again. The scanning method I use is the only way I've found to legitimately mow down infantry on one or two passes (having a big widescreen monitor helps too).
That Punkbusted data is enough proof however to seal the deal and label this guy as a cheater in my mind, because as I've often found with people once a cheater always a cheater. It seems cheating is a personality flaw built right in to some peoples genetics.
I've talked about this hack before and no one believed me! I've also played with various members of [TEC] before and I've found them all to be snooty e-thugs that go around looking for trouble.
Chodda, you shouldn´t show that JPG, it leaves me a little bit downcast .
My best round was about 40 kills/20 deaths.
Anyone who kill more than 100 people IAR should be labeled haxor....just kiding , congrats man.
Im downloading the vids, but before I watch them, I must tell you that there is absolutely NO way you ca aim your cannon BVR at people by just watching the UAV and scan scren. Absolutely, NO way. BVR shots are taken against FLAGS and SPAWNPOINTS and FLAG ICONS are used as homing beacons.
LOL. Ok...
You get a nice comparision, there was another dude in the F35B airbourne. While he was aiming his shots at the "beacons", which were the Z-10 and J-10. Tha_Green_Hax0r knew EXACTLY where to shoot Metallica down in his EVERY pass, from BVR. It was cool to notice that the other F35B pilot pinpointed down choddas location with an overpass, and came back for him, started shooting when he saw him and missed because of that.
Comeon guys, thats an obvious hack right there. You even have a comparision to a clean player.

One thing I noticed Chodda is you need to learn how to line up your co-pilot for a tv shot. You are using the cross hair, when you should line him up by using part way between the cross hair and the gunner's box :p

I agree 100% with this post. I "spray" the runway, trying to blow up the helo and J-10 on my passes. I also spray the runway there and on Oman. If I hit the same person on two passes, and then a third, and then a fourth, that tells me someone is reviving them, and they're not moving.
While the punkbuster ban is definite proof of his hacking, Your vids are inconclusive IMO.
Something that needs to be remembered is that this guy wouldn't be using an aim bot... if he's cheating, he'd be using a taghack to see everyone on the ground all the time and no matter what the range. A wall hack for planes sorta thing.
I'm not convinced personally.
Not yet.
A BR file would help out a lot. The question is, is he just spraying and praying, or is he being guided in?
