Whenever I try to do it, I can only concentrate on that one thing... let alone trying to aim/shoot at someone..

Me too...I really think that prone jumping and combat is only possible to do with macros. But maybe i´m wrong. Bottom lline I won´t waste my precious time training one thing that isn´t fun to do.

Someone will flame me for this, but for me, if people use macros to play this game, it´s almost like hacks...it´s not their skill that determines the outcome of a firefight, but a "program" that improves artificially the skill.

I just use prone for fast standing up because they delayed that with the patch 1.1 because of the dolvin dive nerf

Dolphin dive was nerfed because it was an exploit not intended to be used in the game, this is a variation of the Dolphin dive but it is normally used with a macro...so for me is worst than dolphin diving.

As for the TV guided missile macro...no comments

Just on a tangent for a moment, it's not possible to throw mines like you can with C4 is it? Cause sometimes when on top of a roof as engineer I've had times when it would've really come in handy.

I've tried and never had it worked but never REALLY tried so I was wondering if anyone has got it to work?

BF2 was not ment to be realistic, but it's supposed to be semi-realistic - while simplifying a few things to achieve the fun factor, you still have some realism in it to create an illusion of you being a soldier on the battlefield. Seeing people jumping around like retards, while under fire, spoils that.

I dont really know nor do I really give a sh*t...
The ONLY 2 things that **** me off while gaming is bunny hoppers and prone spamers(mainly bf2), apart from that no other things annoy me (except for dickhead team members who TK and the like but that cant be fixed) all this C-4 throwing, tank whoring, J-10 ownage and the like dont annoy me because I learned long ago while gaming to improvise, adapt and over come.
If more people did this and not cry "n3rf" to EA this would be a better game...

punkbuster is scanning for cheat files why not for macro programma's to
also if you get chaught a PB ban for a week on all pb servers and you stats will be wiped out.

Probably because if they did, than every single person using a G15 keyboard, Nostromo speedpad, whether they use macros in game or not would get banned. NOt to mention the fact that anything in this game can be done with fast fingers and there's no need for macros. Lots of accusations fly when someone does better than others.

Excatly, a mate of mine uses a G15 keyboard but does not use macros, should his and all the other G15 user have their stats wiped for doing nothing...
A fix for the bunny hoppers would be not able to jump unless you stamina bar is at least half full, taking the rest off when you jump and waiting for it to recharge untill you can jump again.

IMO they should just stay away from that section of the game code, no need to screw something else up while trying to fix one thing. Ground humping isn't all that effective anyway, really it makes you a bigger target if you aren't doing it right. As far as bunnyhopping, as someone here said a while back...

I didn't say I can't hit them. What I'm saying is that it looks really dumb. Other than that the game looks really nice and has a modern warfare "feel" to it (and that is what it wants to achieve; if the devs did not want the player to feel as a soldier taking part in modern combat, they would've made a Quake/UT clone without wasting time to create weapon/vehicle models looking as their real-life counterparts etc.).

I could tell the bunnyhoppers and pronehoppers to "learn to play" without exploiting the game and making it look idiotic.
