Page up for acceptance or kicking etc..

Hi, this post is really not worth making a thread about but its really frustrating me. Everytime i go to accept being the commander, or Don't want to forgive a player, or kick someone, it always says press page up. But when i do press 'page up' (the forward key) or hold it, it always says command time expired or does not let me vote on kicking etc...
please help i am a newbie.

Dunno if I should help you considering what you want to vote for, but most likely you have "opt out of voting" clicked. Go into BFHQ and uncheck it.

no i don't. already checked it.
do you have to hold the page up key or just press it once?
this is really pi**ing me off. Thanks for the suggestion though WDA

Hmmm. Just in case, you are voting as soon as the page up or down appears right? They will time out if you don't.

Pressing the "page up" button once should be enough, and the question you get should disappear when you hit the button.... :)

Are you pressing the arrow up key or the key that actually reads "Page Up"? the reference to "the foward key" kinda throws me off.

also... are you sure you have the PAGE UP key bound to voting?

I believe you're on to something here. The way he phrased that is indeed suspicious. I believe he's pressing the wrong key.

Oh my. . . it seems we have a noob. . . the forward key and page up are two different buttons. Obviously you pressed the wrong one.

I almost cried I was laughing so hard. The key to the West of the Num Lock key is page up. The key with the arrow pointing up, is the directional key.

Yep it's really a simple matter of correctly interpretating a keyboard.

Wait, that's East on my keyboard.

But then I'm assuming you're not using True north.

I just assumed that Left is West, Right is East, etc. Was not sure about anyones particular global orientation.

P.S. That one comment still made me crack up when I read the entire post again.
