Hey when you get promoted to first seargent do you get two unlocks instead of just one?

Depends.....If you have SF then you get 2. If you only have BF2 then you get only one. -

Depends on which kits you like the best. L96A is awesome. I have the Scar too....and it's ok. But I should have gotten the MP7 instead. Haven't tried the AT P90 yet.Comment

For sure get the SCAR-L....it's my baby although some folks don't like it. After that, I'd get the L96 because it's a great sniper gun. The p90 is useless to me, i use DAO always when playing ATComment

It comes down to what kit you play the most and how you play it.
I deplore the SCAR-L.
It the extra damage it does isn't worth the loss of accuracy when compaired to the G63C. However, in spray and pray close encounters, it's not so bad.
The L96A1 is the best allround sniper rifle. Slightly faster reload time than the standard USMC rifle and just as accurate.
The P-90 gives you a bit of extra flexibility to the AT kit allowing you to engadge enemies at longer range. In single shot mode, it'll even allow you do plink away at badguys at longish range. In close range, it's a perty brutal sprayer.
Same deal with the MP-7.Comment

SCAR-L should be made much more accurate than it is now... even... EVEN if it is only made as accurate as the stock M4.... that would be a huge upgrade...

What is better the mp-7 or the p90 they both have the same amount of ammo in a clip and same firing rate.. I really want the p90 but I didn't buy that expansion pack

Just get a trusted friend that has SF to log into your account and play a few minutes of SF. The next time you log in, you'll have any of the SF unlocks you want.Comment

Correct, but you only get as many unlocks as you have currently earned. For example, the topic starter could do this and unlock all but 2 weapons in this case.Originally posted by {Sn][per} ELI
I just did this for a friend, he left out the new sniper rifle since it only differs by model(identical performance to M24), and the P-90.
So he got his last vanilla BF2 unlock early this way :) He has no plans to ever purchase SF and probably won't ever make it to 50k before BF2 mods take over the community.Comment

It really depends on what kit you like to play (or want to play more). The SCAR or the sniper upgrade are not bad choices in my opinion.Comment
