Promotions/Unlocks

I have a friend who just picked up 1stSgt (the worst part is he started playing in June of 2005), anyway, he expected an unlock, I told him he should get 2. I got 2 when I picked up MSGT in Feb. So does he get an unlock?

one if he doesnt have SF and two if hes does have SF and whats wrong if he started in june i started when the game first came out and im still 1st sgt. some people have a life outside bf2

I didn't start this thread to have you guys derail it, my opinion is my opinion, I was asking for clarity on the Unlocks, not my opinion of life outside of BF2.

So why would MSGT get an unlock but not 1stSgt? What would be the impetus to get 1st Sgt?

he should have gotten 1 unlock when ranking up. But like Stilla-Killa said if he has Special Forces he should would have got 2.

I have SF and ranked up to First SGT @ the weekend and got 2 unlocks.

actually if u meet the req at 20k u will become 1st sgt otherwise u will be master sgt

* Awards: Basic Knife Combat Badge, Basic Pistol Combat Badge, Basic Assault Combat Badge, Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge, Basic Sniper Combat Badge, Basic Spec Ops Combat Badge, Basic Support Combat Badge, Basic Engineer Combat Badge, Basic Medic Combat Badge


the ones in bold are the req to become 1st sgt. either way u will get an unlock at 20k now whether u meet the req in bold u will rank up to 1st sgt. i hope this is clear
