Seems like some of the maps follow the theme from the real places, Dailian Plant is an often used example, google search of Jalalabad shows mostly a urban type setting.



Wikipedia says it is the sister city of San Diego California, that's funny.

You will get an unranked mode for infantry only in the next patch - be thankful you're getting it at all
You can play counterstrike lite on your unranked low skill servers.
The rest of us will continue to play Battlefield 2

I think you're misunderstanding of the desire by what looks to be quite a few people to want to play the BF2 game with more infantry style. That and most of the booster pack maps have had a heavy vehicle focus.

That desire will be satiated....just far away from me and without nerfing Battlefield
Too many people say stop the nerfing and in the same breath ask for infantry only maps. The hypocrisy drives me nuts. You WILL get what you want - it will be unranked and an extra game mode suitable for clan competition. Everyone will be happy. But stop nerfing the rest of the game PLEASE.
