This is a plea for help for an unfortunate mate of mine. The thing is, the gun sway in first person causes my mate to suffer from motion sickness. As with most non-life threatening afflictions your mates suffer, it was funny at first but now it threatening to prevent him playing the game. He can't play for more than 30 minutes without puking and understandably he's fed up with it. He doesn't get the effect when flying planes/choppers or driving vehicles but that's hardly a full experience. He can also counteract it by covering the bottom third of the screen with a piece of card - again, hardly ideal. He doesn't want to resort to drug therapy either!!
What he'd like to be able to do is turn off the gun sway, as that is what makes him ill. Failing that, turning off all the gun animation/drawing in first person would probably work as well. There doesn't seem to be any options for this in the HUD controls so I was wondering is anyone was aware of a config file that might include the option of turning these "features" off or indeed, any other method. I feel particularly bad as I head shot him four times and blew him up with a claymore twice whilst he was "incapacitated" - if I could find a cure, it would help assuage my guilty conscience ...
