Just posting something my friend and myself accomplised last weekend. It was Daqing Oilfields and i was piloting the F-15 with my friend as Wizzo. We were going on our usual bombing run, on the outskirts to avoid any chance of running into the infamous J-10.
After a few minutes i hear the warning go off, i ask my friend to check behined us, and then i hear..."Sh!t, its the J-10". Immediately, i begin to pull up, full throttle, banking as i do it, trying to get behined him. Of course the F-15 is no match for the maneuverability of the J-10, so i came up with a different idea. I headed towards the 3/4 towers located to the southern area, flying very low I slowed down between them, doing a number of rolls as i do this and deploying flares. The J-10 pilot must of panicked considering the altidude and towers, and flew straight past me. Then all i hear as the warnings signals die, the engines pick up speed, and the cheer from my friend at the back. The chase must of lasted at least 2-3 mins all together.
I know there has been alot of "nerf the J-10" threads around, and i dont blame them, but to tell you the truth, i had a hell of alot of fun, and i felt i accomplished something by actually surving the chase in my trusty F-15. At the beginning of the next round i was congratulated by the J-10 pilot who was 2nd Lieutenant in rank.."Gutsy move dex, nice one".
I enjoy this game immensly, and the time i spend playing every weekend, refining my skills. - To all those pro pilots reading this, i know it was probably a bad move to do, but i love to experiment alot.
