Has this ever happen to you?

Was playing on FullContact War server a few minutes ago. While waiting for map change, I was disconnected from server and got a message saying it was a network error. I couldn't connect afterwards, my BF2 kept saying that the server refused to connect.

So I rebooted and was able to connect back to the same server but there were now only 6 players waiting for other to join in. Obviously, the server had crashed.

Weird thing was that all of our ranks were back to private. Did not think much of this because it had happen before after a server crash. But now when I got to BFHQ, everything is wiped out. I have zero points/awards.

Should I worry or give it a few more hours/days for my stats to come back? So far my stats or what they should be on BF2S.

Considering the forum is now filling up with, "OMG!!!11!1111 My stats are gone!" threads, it's probably safe to assume this is just a temporary EA server crash glitch.

I was playing when that happened. I logged in a a private and started earning the basic stuff again. My friends weren't able to connect to the server I was on because they were having that same error.

It seemed something happen with the BF2 stat servers. Things are back to normal. No harm, no foul. Many other people were experiencing the same problem from what I gathered on the servers I was on. Maybe EA fell victim to their own patch
