    Rising Star

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere...

But, how does the rising star method in bf2hq work?

What do they take into account when they come up with those percentages, and what do the percentages mean?

    Im just wondering...

    :)

      LOL!!!
Me too. I guess the suckier you are the higher your rising star rank is? When I started playing, it was like in the top 300 or something, not Im in the 200,000th percentile or something.

The percentage is caluclated by taking your score and seeing how much it has improved.

For example if you had 1000 points and gained 800 your Rising Star score would be 180%.

I believe it has something to do with comparing date since enrollment and yor score gained over time. Not realy sure though.

I think rising star has to do with the person with the lowest rank that has gained the most points in a period of time...Im just curious and was wondering if EA or someone else had ever mentioned how they calculate it.

2nd post on that thread has the answer, although I haven't verified it.

so if i made a new account and played for 2 hrs with only 5 points. and then played 5 min with 20 points, then i would be the highest?
