How to not be put out of bounds...

This tip will make your pilot smile, and will keep you from beeing put out of bounds or blunt out teamkilled...

Press right mouse button, fire tv missile with left mouse button clicks, redirect tv missile with left mouse button clicks...

Do this and remain in the chopper...
Otherwise, prepare to meet your respawn timer...

Yes, it has come to this for me as well Sloi.. ;(
    Regretfully so...

And how exactly do you propose we convince our bot pilots to TK us out of bounds so we can practice this? Hmmmmmmmm? :p

Disregarding that, what exactly are you trying to say here? That firing missiles prevents the OoB punishment somehow? If you have to fire the missiles, this really isn't a solution. First, you'll have to contend with the long reload times between missles--certainly you'll be dead after missle 3 or 4. Second, you only have eight missiles; the pilot will just wait you out. :hmm:

Yeah good point. Personally, I think it is too much trouble, but that's just me. If you are gonna die, you are gonna die. :p

The out of bounds thing is invincible. If a pilot try to do this with me, I'll ask him to not do that, fire a missile or somehting. If he does, I'll tell him to screw himself - and maybe get a chopper or jet and ram him.

              :) :) :) :)
No just swap sides and then shoot him down. No point getting a minus score because to have an idiot in your team.

To practice with the TV gun, get on a server that only has 3 or 4 players with one a good pilot and then ask for some help. 2 things you can now do are, help the pilot to know where to aim for you. Most aim too high and you miss by overshooting. Secondly you can work out how to shoot with it.
I,ve met some good pilots and made some good team players who are now happy for me to shoot things for them. It takes a lot of practice.
If you can fly a chopper then park one on a hill or on top of a building then swap seats F2. Now you can practice on the TV gun. Become the commander and drop a supply crate beside you then you can practice without having to get more ammo.
              Have fun:banana:   :salute:

You guys missed the point. He was trying to tell you to NOT to be a retard and use your MG on anything and everything, and use the thing pilot is lining you up for, the TV missile shot. Or, youre a waste of space and nerves and you will be "ejected". Go into Single Player, pick Dragon Valley and start practicing. Im telling you, theres no better practice than trying to get shots while your pilot is a moron and isnt lining you up for any of them. Awesome practice. I went from absolute newbie in TV area, to 80% hit for armor and 30% hit on choppers. I also became very ****ing good with the cannon, which Im very proud of. Cobra is by far my favourite cannon after that practice. Note, I didnt have net for 2 weeks, so I was pushed to work on new areas, that would be fun.

And if you are correct, which you probably are, then this thread is stupid.

                  DooDaH's Public Service Announcement (paraphrased): n00bs deserve to be TK'ed. Don't be a n00b.

Sorry. I just don't buy into that kind of egocentric gameplay philosophy, but I guess that's just me. :hmm:

Lets put this philosophy into practice:

You just failed at posting a decent thread in this forum. I guess I have no choice but to kill you from these forums.

                    ...yea, doesnt work very well.

Re: How to not be put out of bounds...

I'm trying to spawn as SpecOps at all times so that eventually, I'll remember to plant C4 on the heli in case I sit as a gunner and the pilot tries to fly me out of bounds.

I've got 2 players to harass as a result of being taken OOB:

                        - USteppin
                        - D>E>F>U>S>E>R (or something like it)

I'm going to follow these guys around and make their playing experience a living hell: feel free to assist me in doing so.

Just to get it straight, I do not justify OOB. Ive been on the receiving end and it sucks.

Ive had some kickass gunners becoming from total newbies to decent ones, with just a feww pointers I gave them. Then again, Ive had pricks who had an "I know better, Im exprienced" attitude and cannon a tank...

Just so you remember, it takes 100 shots to kill an APC, and 200 to kill a tank, from CObra.

Ah man, for me it is... I hate having someone relatively new or unskilled in the helo with me when I'm sneaking up on the enemy! I line them up perfectly with say, a side shot, only to have them miss by like, a mile... and at that point, the enemy helo turns and takes shots at us. In my opinion, it's make or break: if you can't confidently use it, don't step in with me because you're just helping my blood pressure increase. :p
