    Possible security risk?

I have xfire and i allways see clan m8s ect playing bf2, but i was wondering if it was safe to put my user name an pass in when it asks so... Is there anyone here who uses this feature for bf2? I just dont want my account to suddenly go missing...

I think you are safe using that with xfire IMO

The password is hashed so there's little reason to panic.

Indeed. You run a bigger risk taking a dump in a public toilet than using Xfire auto join.

The username and password you put in there to join a server,
is what xfire adds to the shortcut to be able to log you in the game.
Its the same as if you started the game and logged in manually.... :p
