Another Unlock Thread

Hate to put one of these up, but I'm trying to decide. For my next two unlocks I'm getting the L85 and am wondering if it is worth it to get the G36E with it. I use bit of assault, spec ops, and anti tank along with the medic. But I've gotten back into the medic. Here are my stats.

yup defanitly get the l85a1 and the g36e i got them when i went up a rank just recently they are good

i got my g36e today and i love it,no recoil at all even thoguh its not auto matic that doesnt matter cause it kicks arse.

It would be the smartest to get the G36E Get that thang and Medic whore all the way to your new rank.. More unlocks then and faster rank right? (I know it's not all about rank don' t flame me or something for saying that sentence..)

L85 is better if you do what a medic should do and stick behind their squad and heal injured team mates. The 4x scope is brilliant.

But if you like to use the medic as an assault kit def go for the G36.

Well, lemme say this, G36E=M16A2 on steroids, better min dev, and better dev added per shot, it's a great gun (and it looks cool).

I have both L85 and G36, but I use the L85 more often in maps like Karkand and Mashtuur with a lot of < 50m engagements. It does less damage per shot but it's full auto and more often than not, I am on the losing end of a full auto close quarters gunfight. At the same time, on maps with longer range shots, like Wake, I prefer the damage and sights of the G36.

If you ever like to play Medic at all, the G36E is the unlock of choice. Period.

Some people like the L85, but I don't. It has a great scope, but crappy range coupled with that scope is a huge disappointment.

Man, if only they put the L85 scope on the G36E...I would be a GOD.

Or, more likely, it would have been nerfed a looong time ago.

The G36E and the L85 do same damage, which is 32 damage per shot (w/o body armor on the victm of course). If you don't believe me, jsut tell me and i'll be glad to post up the ini files for each gun. Anyways, other things, you can actually fire the G36E REALLY fast, it has a fire rate of 900 RPM, while the L85 and all the other rifles (besides M16) have a fire rate of 600RPM. 900 rpm+32 damage bullets is very good, just click the burst really fast and it works out great.

according to your stats you play alot as assault so why not get G3 and L85?
