Well i bought a 6200OC with 256mb of Vram ( AGP ) and i overclocked it a bit and playd BF2 for awile and the overclocks were fine but...

the top images looked like driver issues at first, but that APC one is definitly artifacts. either 1. you need to downclock 2. you are screwed and need a new card. IMO you shouldnt have OCed the 6200 in the first place but w/e thats just my opinion, it looks like [if you werent artifacting, of course] those are pretty nice settings for that card.

yeah it could be overheating issues....putting throught ur comp through all those high graphics...and waht do u mean by "its worse on low"

and i would recommend a reinstall of bf2....if ur missing ur menu video (unless u manually deleted it) something is wrong

        Re: Sader issue

Do you get these errors when the card is set to the default speeds?

If not, then you have your card OC'd to much. Turn it down some.

The artifacts are from the overclocking. Reinstalling BF2 will not help that.

I ran it at stock speeds (my video card is overclocked out of the box) then i underclocked it then i reinstalled it then SF would not install becuse disk two is corrupted..-_-
Then i tryed the demo and it does the same thing.

try uninstalling your graphix card and reinstall it with the latest drivers from nvidia http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_84.21.html and dont o/c, but if you need to keep it at a minimum

Ok that worked for awile.... but it started back up again. When i turn map detail to low it goes away but my fps goes from 30 down to 2-4 on low =\

                Re: Sader issue

turn off shadows on a card like that, youll be amazed on the performance boost. also put the textures on medium

and I agree with the above posts, dont overclock your card

Yeah you shouldnt be ocing that card and running at those settings on this card, its most likely overheating thats causing the problems

I would be supprised if you are getting anything above 15 FPS with those settings. I had the 6600GT and I ran my card on 1024x768 @75Hz, 100% view, everything medium or low exept dynamic light & dynamic shadows which were off. You should get a decent FPS while looking not too bad

If the card is OC'ed out of the box it may be that you need better case ventilation to keep it cool enough if you don't want to reduce the card's speed. Assuming the card has a fan make sure it's moving. Maybe try running with the case open and a large fan blowing on it just to see if heat is the problem.

my card max temp while playing bf2 or about 2 hours is 42c and idle it is 39c so thats not it

when i turn shadows off it goes away... think it has to do with 'ultrashadow II' going to try to RMA it and get another...

                              Update:

GeForce 6200's ultrashadow on the NV44A cores is broken, so it uses a stencel buffer that is not there and makes ****ed up images like the above
