Can't join a squad

Its weird after i patched the last aptch and played bf2 i am unable to join a squad or the make squad do i need to uninstall every thing and reinstall all the **** after??

thats only some servers.....


its a bug that i come across every now and then on some servers

Ah yes, this problem. What you need to do is rip out your computers HD like you would a mortal enemy's heart and proceed to microwave it for 4hrs 32mins. God knows why.

Nah, basically squad hopping isn't allowed anymore, so if you don't join or create a squad immediately you're a loner for the rest of the round.

...oh please. It's a given to read the patch release notes every time you install one! Don't you want to see what has changed??

They made a gameplay change to prevent squad hopping. You can no longer join or create a squad when you're dead, only when you're alive. When you do join one, you can't spawn on the leader until you die once more.

I get that only after I die. I have to spawn and then join a squad. Like someone said before, I think it's too prevent squad hopping.

I think he's referring to a bug that I sometimes get. Upon logging onto a server you find that squads have been disabled as there are no buttons available on the squad selection screen. No option to create or join a squad and there were no existing ones either. I asked if anyone knew what was happening but no one replied.

I get the same thing. Not able to join any squad (all buttons greyed out).
