Solution: Long Login Time

hey guys,

today I (Accidentally) found a way to decrease your login time (supposing yours took UBERLONG like mine did). Heres what I did, in "My Documents" take your Battlefield 2 Folder and move it to the desktop, then start battlefield 2 again and it will ask you for your account information (as if you just installed) simply retrieve your account and login time will improve dramatically (note by doing this you will reset your ingame settings, but you can always set them back...)
hope this helped, it took my login time from 1 minute to 6 seconds!

It's because of the servers stored in the general.con file for your profile..this has been discussed many times.

Doesn't deleting you cache or something do the same?

No. Deleting your cache will certainly make your next map load take longer though

Back when 1.3 came out I had a problem where my login would take forever, even if my servers were clear. That was fixed by just using the other .exe.
