Okay, I have Battlefield 2 Ver 1.3 and I want to have a little "fun" when I get bored with the normal gameplay of BF2 so I tried downloading some mods. I got Total Retardation 2, Jet Powered, Stunt Mod, and Slaugter. They all install, they all are put in the bf2/mods folder. They launch fine and they have the proper menu screens. When I join a server in any of these mods the screen goes black and goes to desktop (crash).
I tried
-Creating a server
-Joining a server
-Singleplayer
-Higher graphics
-Lower graphics
-Ensuring that the maps were in their folders
My PC Specs are
Dual Pentium 4 processors
768 MB DDR Ram 184 Pin (512x1, 256x1)
Clock speed 2.6 GHZ
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
Creative SB Live! Series Audio Card
I can play BF2 or BF2SF perfectly fine, but I play it on the lowest settings because it's great for getting points (no shadows).
This is making me kinda dissapointed because I'm really looking forward to some massive C4 Spammage and Jet boosted cars... Holy crap.
