Re: Pre-order Quake Wars
Why pre-order, just buy when it is released. Usually you have to pay a little extra for pre-ordering. I have never pre-ordered a game though, just bought on release or a few weeks later.Comment

Re: Pre-order Quake Wars
I already have, www.play.com its currently about £10 cheaper than it will be in the stores and if the prices goes down, so does how much you'll charged, but if the price goes up yours stays the same. And with free postage. When UT2007 comes out im only going to be paying £18Comment

That isn't coming out till September on the same day as Stalker. I'll also be getting the FarCry expansion, and Prey looks pretty good.Originally posted by Sir. Re: Pre-order Quake Wars
Don't think I have ever bought or really came across a PC game that was £34.99, and I buy basically all my games from the stores like Game and Gamestation. All my PS2 games were bought at GAME, but one which was at Gamestation so at least I know if I don't like it I can return within 10 days and get a full refund. I bought BF2 when it came out at the time for £30 out of Game.Originally posted by Sir. Re: Pre-order Quake Wars
MatDef thats because you live in America, lower taxes since America is so large, so we have to pay alot more then you. I don't mind buying a game of the net if im going to actually keep it, for instance I bought COD2 and BF2SF off play.com. But tell me if there is a game you buy off the net and you don't like it, you can't exactly send it back? I've bought alot of games for PC/PS2 etc and if I don't like them I take them back.Comment

To register your username in advance. If you have a pretty obscure username then you may as well wait.Originally posted by Eternal-SouljahWhy pre-order, just buy when it is released. The publisher also gave out the information that those that do participate in the pre-order program for Quake Wars will be able to register their username in advance of the game's launch (cuts down on those embarrassing moments when you walk into a chat lobby and have a extra character hanging from your otherwise perfectly crafted gamer handle) and will also receive advanced strategies and gameplay tactics to have a little bit of an edge on those that have to learn the hard way.Comment
