Was ust playing BF2, got in a jet and have a lock-on on a friendly EMPTY jet on the carrier... ofcourse I shot at it :laugh:

No but I was in jet and you know how you switch to bombs and it displays jeeps etc as a square on the map, well I bombed the square it was a teamkill, didn't have the x thru it. -

I've noticed that sometimes it will show a target in bomb mode that isn't even occupied, like a vehicle that just respawned or somethingComment

CAPS Lock brings the menu up, you need to apply for commander first
Press 1-2 buttons to switch between bombs and missiles or just simply press FComment

Bomb mode is weapon 2. Commander screen is Caps Lock... same if your a squad leader.
Anyways, I think there's a glitch/bug where if a teammate enters and exits a vehicle it will show up as an enemy target in bomb mode. Just watch your minimap to check for any friendlies before those bombs are released.Comment

I don't think you guys understand what I said there...
Round begins, I run for the jet, get in, (on the carrier) where the other jets is on that bit that is sticking out on the side, no one was near it, as soon as I got in a jet (at the begining on of the round) I had a lock-on sound+line on that empty jet, I shot the missles and sure enough the missles destroyed the jet, and some dude got ****ed off so he ran towards my jet and forced a TK on me :laugh:Comment

Yes, this happens at the beginning of nearly every round I fly. Not only can I lock onto the other friendly F-35, I see empty AA emplacements in my bomb HUD as valid targets. Not uncommon, at all.
Semi-Interesting bug I encountered today: I was flying with a guy as bombardier in the SU-34. We had a good session and got shot down. We were waiting for the SU-34 to respawn and I joined the pilot's squad so that we could communicate better (he was SL). I had not been in a squad before. Immediately after joining the pilot's squad, I received an invitation from him to join his squad. I pressed Page Up for "yes" and it said "Must leave squad Undefined before joining Echo squad". Hrmmmm...
Looks like Dice forgot that null-pointer...

yea it happened to me the other day got in the jet on the ship and it was locked on to the jet on the edge of the ship. WTFComment
