ping limit ? where ?

is there a way to tell what the ping limit is on a server b 4 i join ?
i m trying to find some servers to play that allow a high ping
my local ones are starting to bore me
also whats the deal with the player numbers in list
its always something like 16/16 (2) ... whats teh 2 for ?

There is no way to tell.

what are your pings anyway?

The (2) means that 2 slots are reserved. If the server is 14/16 that means that only people who have reserved slot status will be able to join.

have you tried qtracker to find low ping servers it will find more than the in game browser rather than playing with a high ping which puts you at a slight disadvantage

thx guys good advice BUT , when i used to play DC on dial up
i used to get on the canadian servers a lot and a couple UK ones too
i had pings of 400 and they didnt kick me (im in australia)
and im just getting sick of same servers here and would be awesome to play some different ones, possibly modded ones like DOA used to have with DC

Then try an app like Qtracker to find yourself some more Aussie servers.

Having a 400+ ping isn't going to be good for anyone..

When I join the damn server, my ping jumps to 800 then very fast to 40, and I get kicked for average ping of 250~300, tho if I am not kicked within 5 first second my game totally fine, is there any way to fix, its quite annoying (I did port forwading)...
