Bf2 = Crash To Desktop?

Hey All,

Here is my setup;
AMD Athlon 2400+ @2Ghz
ASRock K7S41GX
768MB DDR400 Ram
ATI Radeon 9800PRO 128mb

I have most settings on low, but 1-2 on medium... Whenever I join a server, i click 'join game', and it crashes to desktop.. any ways to fix this? any solutions?

it happened to me too but i installed game again and it works fine now!

bug in 1.3 just hit "ESC" to enter the game also and WTF is with ^that dudes pic?

You could probrably have all the graphics settings on medium y'know.

My 9700PRO uses Medium and 100% view distance.

I managed to get rid of CTD's by installing newest version of graphic drivers. And no more CTD when clicking 'Join game'. But I have GF6600GT, don't know if it work for ATI.

Mine just stared doing the ctd today I dont know why but I am going to run some virus scans then restart my computer and see if that helps. I already have the latest drivers instaled so I dont know why it is doing it now I was playing only a couple of hours ago and now I cannot play.

Its the stupid patch i cant or havent even been able to get on bf2 to a few days :cry: but i was able to get on sf today

So before clicking 'Join Game' - just press ESC? Does it work?

ESC still crashes it for me. There is 1 fullproof way to stop the crash every time. ( sorry if this has been posted). Check the "auto-ready" box and wait till it automatically joins you. Until the patch. Thats the best thing.
