A Favour to ask..

Hi hi. Im wanting to make a map, based on an actual place. I have an overview map of the area and can provide more if needed.

What im really having trouble with is actually sketching the map out. So I am here to ask, would it be possible for an experienced mapper to create just the outline of the area, it is an island. So just water and the island, ill fill in everything that needs to go ON the island.

If someone could PM me I cant send the details on it. I'll be sure to credit whomever does this to the mod team (keeping under raps:P)

Why are you having trouble making the terrain? the terrain editor works pretty nicely. All you have to do is raise the ground or lower the ground use the platform tool at a small size to start.

Change water level to 25 which is the default map height, then raise your island above it.

It isn't that hard, just never ever use the random tool
