Modified content error

okay so i get that error when i join certain servers like the co-op server rubbery duck or 24/7 moongamers karkand, and the error says "you have been kicked because u have a modified version of bf2 please switch to unmodified" somthing like that im not sure on exact wording

BUT i can play on other servers like insomniac 24/7 wake, mash, sharqi, and i dont get that error, i have no mods installed what so ever anyone have any idea?

Just reinstall the full 1.3 patch. More than likely, one of the .zip files for a map is messed up.

Does this error happen only on certain maps?

umm i havent tested ill go test it, but that means i have to reinstall bf2 huh?

I simply reinstalled myself the patch 4 times before the patch completed and works. If your screen blanks while patching it won't work. You have to change all right on the "C:\PROGRAM FILES\EA GAMES\BATTLEFIELD 2" to "EVERYONE" with all priviledges in WinXP and it will work 100% when patching... Often there is read only files too so remove all security to BF2 files and I'm sure your patching experience will be wonderful! I love those good EA game coders. If I did stuffs like that I would have lost my job for sure. Hooah to EA!
