I've been trying to play around in Co-op mode, but I don't know where it is! I've done searches here for is, but they all jsut talk about how great Co-op is and how hard it is when you make it so you are facing 48 comps on hard, et cetera. The only way I can see to make a Co-op game is to go into Create Local under multiplayer and then do Co-op, but that doesn't give me any options. Where is it?

* right next to game mode, says Conquest with an arrow
* Click the arrow and select Co-op
If you don't have the option in that list, you will need to use the full patch. When I first used the incremental patch it wasn't there as an option. -

I do not have the co-op mode available. I have been applying the incremental patches since the game was released, including v1.4. I even installed the full v1.4 patch and co-op mode is still not available.
I have checked ROE|IndianScout's screenshot, and it just isn't there. Does anyone know how I can get this enabled?

Do you have any non-vanilla maps installed? Co-op support is something that must be built into the map. If the first map in your list doesn't support co-op mode you won't get the option in the drop-down box even if all other maps support it.Originally posted by Rikki7Comment

The FIRST map in your Map folders MUST be an original BF2/SF map. Thats the trick. Example: You have BF2C Wake Airshow installed, it is now the first map in your map folders. Usually Dalian plant is the first map, I think. So it wont show if you have a map installed starting with numbers, A, B, or C! Great stuff isnt it? Oh and Daa, etc etc.

Doesn't need to be one of the original maps, just one that has co-op support; most recent SP maps have it and it's easy to add to an existing SP map. (Adding the SP support OTOH is a major project.)Originally posted by Blades

Ok, so now I have the CO-OP enabled and settings are selected. Do I provide the IP to another player so he can play w/ me?
