Ok here is what I did to get rid of all of the problems that 1.3 caused.

Copy Battlefield 2 Directory (from your My docs folder, contains profile settings) to root of C:

Uninstall (via Add/Remove) SF then BF2

Go to C: (or where ever you have it) and delete the EA Games Dir.

Defrag completely

Restart Machine

Defrag again (quick)

Install Battlefield 2 (Restart)

Install SF (it will patch BF2 to 1.1) (Restart)

Run 1.21 Patch (Restart)

Install Euro (Restart)

Install 1.22 (Restart)

Install 1.3 (Restart)

Install AF (Restart)

That is correct I always reboot or else SF will not work.

hehe thanks.. so i d/l the full 1.22 patch 1st..
later gonna try Hephaistion's idea..

well hope this works.. coz i olready see some thread wif lots of problem unsolve..
