    video problem

alright, i recently bought bf2 special forces. i havent played bf2 in a long while and just decided to get back into it. my problem is, i cannot seem to run the game with decent graphics. i have an nvidia 6800oc and a gb of ram, and used to be able to run the game on the default high settings with AAx2. now with those settings when i turn in game it lags and i basically just spin after a few seconds, and my framerate is at about 4ps. now when i first got the game i read review of how people with the same exact specs as i have could run the game on max settings at the highest resolution without lag or any problems. i never understood why i couldnt. basically though, i need help fixing this problem, IF there even is a way to fix it. Ive updating my drivers, done all the basic stuff and the game will still barely run on 800x600 on the lowest settings. please help cause right now i have a useless cd i could be using for skeet shooting.

You might really want to try clearing your cache first, but a reinstall might be in order. I run a 6800GS on all high AAx2 with no lag on a Sempron 64 3100 @2ghz with only 1gb of mixed-rate ram (lol)
