SF and Regular Servers

Hi,

I was thinking about getting SF, but I wondered if I would still be able to play on reg BF servers and SF or would i be relegated to only SF servers? thanks

You can play on both sets of servers still. If you try to join a BF2 map while in SF, then SF quits, BF2 starts up, and then you join the server. If you are playing BF2 and try to join a SF server, the opposite happens.

That was a pretty poor explanation, but you'll see what I mean when you get SF. Bottom line is you can still play both.

exactly...no server can have both SF and regular BF maps in a rotation. You have to quit out of the game when switching between BF2 and SF.

This is NOT the case with booster packs. They can be incorporated into map rotations without restarting the client or server.

Alright thanks guys. I think I'll go and buy SF tomorrow.
