WMP will not tell you the bitrate of DivX/Xvid.

Use a Codec/Video identifier like GSpot,

My problem is that all of the divx/xvid videos have BITRATE except mine!

I used WMP to view them and no problem.

I dont know whats wrong with the divx codecs... Is my first time using it.

I don't think it's anything to worry about.

A lot of avi's dont show bitrate in my wmp too.

That looks like the audio bitrate, not the video or both combined.
I think the problem here is that the method you are using to find out bitrates and other things has become dated with the newer versions of DivX. (A problem common with most avi files.)

I use realplayer to play most of my video. It shows bitrate for me when viewing the properties through the player. You ether love or hate realplayer... but I've always had it and I won't let go.

Would it be becasue its not a constant bitrate? Or will that not matter at all..

Either way you should still be able to view the movie
