Special Forces launch problem.

This week I've suddenly started experiencing problems launching Special Forces.. really, ever since I installed Armored Fury...

I click the SF icon and the BF2 splash screen pops up then I get the windows error message that goes something like "BF2 experienced a problem and will now close, report this error? [Report] [Don't Report]"

Same thing happens when I am in Vanilla BF2 and select a SF server... when Vanilla closes and changes over to SF I get the same error...




But get this... If I eject the CD and re-insert it and immediatly click the SF Icon while the disc is spinning up, it loads fine.


It's the oddest thing.

Happens to me all the time. Even before I had AF or EF. Often I've had to eject the disk and then load from the autoload screen. Always thought it was just my computer.
It seems to happen mostly if I leave my computer idle for a couple of hours then try to play. Sometimes it's easier to just restart the computer 1st then the game loads up no probs.

Fixed the problem.

Daemon Tools was the issue... who knows why, but when I close it, SF launches fine. Mini-images suck.
