hey i was jsut messing around with my video settings and i had my screen resolution on i think 1240x740 or watever that size above 800x600.... well anyway i was running at 1240x740 at 60mhz so i thought i wonder what this si so i put it up to x120mhz and then my screen went black and the monitor light went orange insteed of usual green. I couldnt fix it as it was black so i first did a restore point then that failed then i reinstalled... Still its black theres sound and everything but i cant see where to change it back to the normal? Anyone no anything i can do would be awsome....

boot into safe mode.
right click my computer, go to manage hardware and disable your vid card.
Boot into Xp, and then change the res, then enable your vid card.

ive never heard of a moniter going to 120hz lol. and I think you mean hz, not mhz. anyways, keep it at 60-75 which is probably what your moniter supports. also once you do what was posted above, click the lil icon that says "hide all modes not supported by moniter"

my old 21 inch crt goes up to 125Hz, but my 1907FPW only goes up to 75 at 12x10. :-(
