He having problems will raising settings on bf2.
His statmet
Iwas able to put bf2 on my comp but now it wont let me put the settings on high.

it will get to collisions (46%) then boot me off bf2 like shut down bf2 oo well its to early in the morning for this im going to bed and figuring this out tomorrow...

Is is MC or could it be his dual core? Hes NOT overclocking

Media Center Edition should be fine for BF2.

We are both kinda mad he cant get this thing working right. Before he wouls have random system freezes and needed Reboot. Idk....

this was his 2nd install. First time it would find a file and he clicked the wrong button so Windows skipped looking and in the end was not installed right.

Linux will run BF2, but I hear its not too pretty.

It might not be working because of your Duel core, i have seen a few threads about Duel core systems and Bf2 crashing on them, there is a D/l available for some. have a search though this forums.

yep I run bf2 on my laptop with media center and it works fine. Infact, when I looked closer at MC, its actually xp-pro with the media center stuff built into it.
