I think that if done properly this is a great opportunity to strike back at the hacks in the game. As long as BFROE/EA hold up their end of the bargin, if you get some good screenshots of smaktards you get a chance to own their stats!!! I think to be the "better man" u warn players first you will screenshot anyone using the glitch at the start of the game. Sit back and watch ur radar. When u die some place else on the map(stay away from hotel flag as u will just get pwned by the turd) then cycle thru and get their butt on film with a screen shot before u respawn. If they are just trying to hack their score up...boom!!!reset....have a nice day arse. Maybe not so clean cut but if it happens enough it should get old fast and the children will move on.

DICE has had this problem (wall glitching) since 42. (over 3 years ago). They obviously cant or wont, or dont know how to fix it. MODDERS however fixed it themselves, by placing barbed wire (in 1942/dc mod) into the troubled areas. SO.....lamer goes in.....lamer dies. Pretty smart really, and effective.
However, some of you folks, think that because the map is flawed, no one should play it. Thats kinda downright stupid.

Couldn't quite follow everything you were saying, but my advice for next time is to get on their team. When you die press 'C' to cycle through 3rd person view for your whole time. Stop when you get to someone in there and take screenshots (don't go in yourself). Send said screenshots to EA, report them to server admins (with your proof) and then go find a server where people aren't being idiots.

I've never heard of someone getting their stats reset for this.

ATM DICE/EA have acknowledge that they are hard at working trying to fix the 1.3 f*ck up. That's where their efforts are currently focused. That's why the resets have slowed down since 1.3 I assure you this though once this patch nightmare has been sorted out watch out for mass resets. Everyone reported inside the hotel with adequate evidence "will" be reset. It only takes a single screenshot to prove it too.

However you have to be a special kind of stupid to try and glitch on a server that has admins and working Battle Recorder. Watch for this guy to have his precious stats reset. He tried to act dumb, which I think we have already covered how dumb his is to claim he wasn't doing anything wrong. I won't post up the BR though because I don't want anymore who don't know how to do it to encourage them.

I've only done this once and it was on an Unranked server, so many people were trying to get in, that when they tried or was about to, there dead. lol, it just p*sses me off, the only reason I would play on an unranked server is for practice. :shakehead

Nah, this whole thing I made up, lol. I only play on ranked servers! Weapons, pwnage, yeeeaah! :laugh: lol The only real thing about it is, "it just p*sses me off".

I just avoid the hotel area all together. It isn't as critical as some of the other flags.

Yes...we all know about this exploit.

There is no need for a million threads about it here.

All it does is encourage people (as exemplified here) to ask 'duh...how do I do it?' and then people reply here with the answer and BAM! the exploit spreads.
