Weird Crash, never happened to me before

Well, today I was playing in DPG (Gulf of Oman) I hit the 500 mark, exited... When I try coming back on, I click login, the cheesy video in the background is not there, instead a gray box. The outlines of all the buttons change colors (rainbow colors), The EA message appears but nothing can be seen, when I press BFHQ, the template loads but nothing is there. I logged out, exited... No problem. When I open the game, I get the splashscreen. And then nothing. My moniter flickers, but nothing. My CD is not scratched, I rebooted my computer, and even system restored. This problem is ticking me off, I really want to play.

It happens to me on the odd occassion as well.
I just quit the game then reload and that fixes it for me.
As soon as I see the grey empty box loading I wait for the logon screen to appear them quit from there.
That happened before the new patch as well so we can't blam that.
