I thought the ranks had time limits on them as to when you could be promoted.

Nothing out of the ordinary, I have played 60+ hours less than him, and am a little behind his score, in another 60 hours I better get a new rank. heheh

yes there are time requirements for higher Generals

That's why I said "persay".....the ONLY time requirement is for 4 star generals .

And i wouldn't consider myself anything more than a slightly above average player, that guys K/D ratio is pretty bad and anyone with an SPM higher than his will have more points in the same amount of time and they're are many thousands with higher spm than 1.7. :)
