well i was playing Ghost Recon Advanced Warfair and i threw a c4. it went hella far and i was thinking how come in bf2 u can only throw like 1 foot?

To balance out the teams and game. And if the Spec Ops were able to throw c4 far, then there will be C4 Noob Throwers.

In the olden days you could throw c4 but this led to a whole team that just went about throwing c4 everywhere. It was sick mate, fully sick eh.
So instead of ppl shooting each other, they were blowing each other up non-stop, not real fun I may add.

Players that couldn't shoot C4 chuckers cried so much DICE had enough and caved in.

That is the "reason" given at least. They didn't have to go overboard with the changes.
