Hi, my isp will not let me open port 80, its forbidden so becasue BF2 uses port 80 i would like to change it so BF2 will use port 81 when instead of port 80, so i can get the funcitonality out of port 80.

Why do you want to open port 80 to your computer?

I think you misunderstand port forwarding. You would open port 80 to your computer if you were hosting a website, which port 80 is default for webservers.

You connect (as a player) to a defaulted bf2 server using port 16567, but this is outbound traffic to the server.

A bf2 server is set default to port 29900 for gamespy communication.

Now, the EAD uses port 80 to communicate, but that is outbound traffic.

Your ISP has port 80 blocked so that you cannot host websites from your system, which is inbound traffic.

ok so opening port 80 wouldn't help with VOIP problems?
