I used to have it under 7 (default) but then i bought a logitech G15 keyboard and put it under one of the G-buttons on the left of the keyboard! Buy one they are really cool and play terrific.

The defaults are:
7 for night vision
8 for gas mask

I map it to one of my mouse side buttons, extremely useful! (remember to map the vechicle weapon 7 to it too)

I just hit in that general area of my keyboard until i get the mask i want on! LOL

I have it mapped to one of my center buttons (not the mouse wheel button) on my MX500 mouse. I have gas mask on another center button as well. It works really well for quickly getting either one on or off. It does help that the mouse has 8 buttons + scroll though.

Well the reason i ask is cause many times you have to change on and off. And sometimes it's matter of staying alive or getting killed. When you have the N.G. on and there is some sort of light you can't see anything. That's the only downside to the night maps. And plus that i have a triniton monitor wich makes it dark so i am blind like a bat.

I'd wager that it took longer to post this thread than to just hit ESC, go into the controls section, and see what the heck the goGGles key might be.

And so dies another meaningless thread that wasted everyone's time to answer a question about as complex as "which key do I press to move forward? W or A?".

Did you actually read ??? I diden't ask for what was the default key i asked what other people have maped the key on their keyboards. Maybe if you have read what it was in the thread you woulden't have post this dumb response.t

With three misspellings in your original post, and another three in your reply, to make no mention of grammar that makes you sound like a drunken Filipino, is it any surprise that people are occasionally having a hard time understanding what you're saying?

Nonetheless, the original thrust of my response to the OP's point remains: make the decision yourself regarding key mapping, and don't waste time asking ultimately pointless questions.

I don't change any key mapping, but some people have to change everything, so the ultimate answer is this: the default for goggles works fine for most people, but if you want to map it to something else, go for it. But asking other people which control or key they map goggles to is kind of like asking them whether they wipe with their right or left hands, and then making your own decision based on their input. As long as you get the job done, who really cares? And why base your decision on their opinions in any event?
